TextPublication details: MB : 1978Online resources: Abstract: The Alexander-Griswold Marsh which encompasses 2603.8 acres and 33.7 shoreline miles is located in southwestern Manitoba approximately 15 miles west of the City of Brandon. The marsh parallels the TransCanada Highway and is roughly situated between the towns of Alexander and Griswold. This marsh chain is the remnant of an ancient stream which paralleled the Assiniboine River and eventually emptied into the Souris River. Ducks Unlimited has already developed 4 projects on this particular watercourse.
