The marsh parallels the TransCanada Highway and is roughly situated between the towns of Alexander and Griswold. This marsh chain is the remnant of an ancient stream which paralleled the Assiniboine River and eventually emptied into the Souris River. Ducks Unlimited has already developed 4 projects on this particular watercourse.
