This group of volunteers, representing a wide range of ages, from rural and urban areas, participated in this seasonal five year project. At its start in 1992,the program counted 1020 individuals and the number of volunteers increased each year. The project consisted of bird monitoring in rural areas during the spring and summer time in North America.
