This guide provides a field guide to a remote sensing-based wetland classification system that is applicable to the Boreal Plains ecozone of Canada. The Boreal Plains ecozone covers 740, 632 square kilometers of the 2.6 million square kilometers of the Western Boreal Forest and extends across portions of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
