By: Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextPublication details: Ducks Unlimited Canada, Regina, SK :Description: 1 v. (various pagings) ; 28 cmOnline resources: Abstract: The Agricultural Policy Framework (APF) is one of the most significant opportunities Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) has to influence land use within the agricultural areas of Canada. These opportunities, if acted upon, will enable DUC to influence the direction of agricultural policy in Canada. DUC has been devoting a considerable amount of time and effort to the Environment Pillar of the APF - and seeing results of those efforts; however, the remaining four pillars cannot be ignored.Much of the work thus far has been done in the context of policy, but the impact of the APF will go beyond policy to affect direct program delivery and extension efforts. This brief overview identifies some of those potential opportunities, and recommendations for how DUC could choose to pursue them.
