(Al-Pac), and Weyerhaeuser. The project involved the earth cover mapping of a September 9, 1999 Landsat 7 Thematic Mapper (TM) satellite scene from Path 44, Row 21 and a change detection of the September 9, 1999 scene with an earlier Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper scene from the same path and row, acquired August 28, 1986. For the 1999 earth cover classification,the project area was classified 26 earth cover categories. The classification scheme was based on Viereck et al.
