The intent of this paper is to document the Aspen Parkland Field Office's (APFO) thoughts on the use of conservation easements, the issues and needs related to the adoption of conservation easements, the issues and needs related to the adoption of conservation easements as a program tool, and recommendations for next steps in the development of a strategy to implement a conservation easement program within the APFO.
