TextPublication details: British Columbia : 1998Online resources: Abstract: The purpose of this survey-based evaluation is to assess the Interior Wetlands Program in terms of its uptake by the core of its target audience: ranchers in the lower and mid-elevation grasslands and open forest range lands of the interior Fraser River Basin. The questionnaire was mailed to the entire membership of the B.C. Cattlemen's Association.This membership includes most of the ranchers of B.C.: 1,649 ranchers at the time of mailing. A good response rate of 15.6% was achieved (256 useable returns). Results of the survey were analysed through the statistical methods of univariate analysis and cross-tabulations.Results are summarized for each of the major sections of the report below.
