The area, referred to as the Quill Lakes-Mt. Hope Complex, is recognized as a key provincial wetland for production,moulting and staging of waterfowl. In consideration of the proposed long range development plan, DU are interested in determining the current number and distribution of ducks and geese frequenting this area. To this end, DU retained Environmental Management Associates (EMA) to conduct an aerial survey program at this location during fall, 1986.
