Content was edited to reflect habitat and population issues of interest to Ducks Unlimited Canada. Ducks Unlimited was represented by Rick Warhurst (DU Inc. Great Plains Regional Office, Bismark) and myself. It is reasonable to say that the Central Flyway Technical Committee is recognizing the contribution of Ducks Unlimited's habitat programs, in particular our organization's work on the North American waterfowl Management Plan in Canada and United States. The 1990 meeting reflected our current times in waterfowl management. Technical committee members reported fewer active duck hunters and a shift toward goose harvest. Discussions on NAWMP activities predominated the habitat portion of the meeting. The Saskatchewan Waterfowl Technical Committee distributed two document
