The Alberta projects were in the forest zone, those in Saskatchewan were in the prairie zone, and the Manitoba ones were in the parkland zone. The data is not analyzed in this report, but is presented in scores of tables, which indicate that waterfowl production in Saskatchewan and Alberta was greater than in Manitoba. The purpose of the study was to determine production from Ducks Unlimited projects in three ecological zones. The data gives an accurate indication of production in 1978 and the selected projects and thus meets an initial objective of the study. The data will be useful in providing direction for future habitat improvement programs and will be helpful in estimating expected production from potential Ducks Unlimited projects. The study, however, should be continued over a number of years in each habitat type in order to re
