The earlier report included results of moisture stress models, crop yield models, and economic impact models run under assumptions of conventional tillage operations and 1979-1981 technological factors, and both current and expanded grain transportation quotas. The following report maintains the expanded transportation system and adds some conservation tillage operations. The definition of drought (weather events of 1936-1940) and normal years (weather events of 1953-1957) remains the same as in the earlier study.
