It has long been felt that the Alonsa Conservation District would realize several types of benefits as a result of the project. However, to date, there has been no attempt to analyze the benefits. Therefore, the Conservation Districts Authority has undertaken to coordinate a study on behalf of the Alonsa Conservation District aimed at identifying and evaluating the benefits which are expected to materialize following completion of Phase 1 of the Portia Project which involves the development of Zone B.
