The purpose of these programs is to address issues surrounding the impacts of agriculture on the environment and the agricultural resource base. The Advisory Group Inc., in association with Ecologistics Limited and the AdCulture Group,was commissioned to study the overall public image and awareness of the impacts and benefits, both positive and negative, of the agriculture and food industry in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The goal of the Urban Awareness program is to improve the image of the agriculture and food industry as environmentally responsible stewards of our natural resources, through a well-designed multi-year communications strategy.Direction for areas of improvement in resource management from a public perspective were also identified.
