The area is bounded on the northeast and northwest by the Saskatchewan River, on the south by farmland adjacent to the Carrot River and on the west by the Saskatchewan/Manitoba boundary. Works have been installed within the Carrot River Triangle which enable independent water level control of individual lakes, including the capability for independent drawdown. The works as installed and management practices are to overcome problems of excessive spring flooding and lack of interspersion of land and water.This manual has been prepared to serve two purposes. The first is to document in one location as completely as practicable, all the details relating to the physical design of the project.
