Material type: TextPublication details: 1983-1985.Description: 2 v. (various pagings) : maps ; 28 cmOnline resources: Abstract: A total of $161,277 worth of fur was harvested by 153 trappers in the Saskeram and Summerberry Trapping Areas in 1984/85. Overall fur value decreased by 33% from that of 1983/84, attributable almost soley to the decreased muskrat harvest. The majority of lines were adequately trapped during the winter period. During the spring muskrat season, all lines, with a few minor exceptions, were adequately trapped. The relatively new technique of periodically draining marshes to improve vegetation, as practiced in Ducks Unlimited project areas, has dramatically increased muskrat production on those marshes having undergone a drawdown.Item type | Current library | Collection | Call number | Status | Notes | Date due | Barcode |
