There is an inter-dependent relationship with the Cumberland and Sipanok Marshes both for a water supply to the Carrot River Triangle and the discharge of water from both of these projects, the impact of which will have to be kept to a minimum. Other outlets to the system would be a benefit to water management. The biological needs of waterfowl will be assessed and recommendations made for improvement by other D.U. staff. Based on these recommendations, an engineering design concept for water control will be prepared by S.P.T.
