A total of 22 wetland areas, located in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island were investigated. Included this year were five areas new to the study. One area, Chapman Brook located in New Brunswick, was dropped from the evaluation this year. This evaluation of waterfowl utilization and habitat is part of a cross-Canada study designed by Ducks Unlimited (Canada) to assist them in managing wetland areas and to help assess the potential of wetlands for future project development.
