(various pagings) : ill. ; 28 cmOnline resources: Abstract: The purpose of this study was to provide Ducks Unlimited (Canada) with the hydrologic data necessary to carry out a more comprehensive assessment of the availability of water from the Saskatchewan River for regulation of the Cumberland Marshes system. The study focused primarily upon the development of a relationship defining flows presently available in the Dragline Channel as a function of releases from Tobin Lake. In order to establish the above, it was necessary to initially construct the following the data: a) a correlation between Tobin Lake outflows and recorded flows in the Old Channel b) a stage-discharge curve for the Old Channel at the Dragline Channel entrance, and c)rating curves for the Dragline Channel control structure. The study also involved the development of mean monthly duration curves for available Dragline Channel flows from 64 years of recorded and synthetic flow data for the Saskatchewan River below Tobin Lake.Item type | Current library | Collection | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
