(unpaged) : ill. ; 28 cmSubject(s): Abstract: The Saskeram Wildlife Management Area (Figure 1) has long been a debated issue in the Northwest Region. The Department of Natural Resources has,to date, kept agricultural use of Saskeram limited to a few grazing and haying leases along the southern border and has also allowed Ducks Unlimited to undertake extensive marsh management programs. The Saskeram also supports controlled hunting and trapping. Historically, the Fisheries Branch has had very few concerns in the Saskeram othern than the installation of a fish ladder at Bracken Dam.
