Independent Test-Lab Limited,Description: 20 p. : ill. ; maps ; 28 cmOnline resources: Abstract: In accordance with a request by Mr. A.D. Gould, P. Eng., Provincial Engineer of Ducks Unlimited (Canada), Independent Test-Lab Limited undertook to perform a subsurface investigation on the beach ridge north of Cell No. 8 of the MERP project. The investigation was conducted to define the subsurface soil condition of the beach ridge and to determine the soil permeabilities of the probable seepage zones through field permeability tests. Based upon the field data and applying the finite element program, SIMFEP (Lew, 1979), a computer seepage analysis was carried out in an effort to substantiate the preliminary results presented in our previous report entitled Computer Seepage Analysis of the MERP Project.
