Eleven of these, ranging in size from 20 to at least 200 acres, were given high development priority.Protection of existing wetlands from alteration detrimental to wildlife values is emphasized. Most factors limiting the potential for development of waterfowl habitat derive from established agricultural practices and lack of appreciation of broad ecological concepts. Land purchase will likely be required to achieve development objectives.
