The cell was drawn down in late June 1984 and treatments were applied in November 1984. The cell was reflooded immediately after treatment application. Stem density, biomass and area of phragmites were assessed prior to treatment and will be reassessed in 1985 and 1986.Density of colonizing species will also be assessed. Pre-treatment stem height and biomass varied among water depths, however stem density did not.
