Dillon Limited,Consulting Engineers, carried out this study of the impact on waterfowl habitat of future changes related to Dauphin Lake regulation and watershed drainage. Establishment of existing conditions in the light of limited data was a major part of the investigation. The primary intent of this study is to provide a background of information and interpretations for evaluation of future developments within the Lake Dauphin basin. Changes to the regulation of Lake Dauphin or improvements to drainage facilities could affect waterfowl habitat in an unfavourable manner. Attempts have been made to anticipate such effects under various possible schemes of operation of Lake Dauphin.
