Availability of water to meet evaporation and internal operation demand of the Cumberland and Saskeram Marsh systems. R.W Coley
Material type: TextPublication details: SK : 1976Online resources: Abstract: A hydrological analysis was carried out to determine the availability of water via the Saskatchewan River Old Channel and the Dragline Channel to meet the requirements of the Cumberland and Saskeram (Manitoba) marsh systems, and to determine whether the Cumberland system could be operated internally to meet the biological requirements for marsh recycling. The purpose of the study was two-fold: 1. To provide the Province of Saskatchewan, Department of Environment with data to assist their studies towards the granting of an Authorization for Construction and eventually a license for the proposed Cumberland Marsh development program. 2. To provide Ducks Unlimited with additional data necessary to complete the design of the control works and conveyance channels necessary to pass water throughout the Cumberland Marshes system, and to develop an internal operating plan.Item type | Current library | Collection | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode |
