Populations built up on these areas; peaked during the first week of October then declined to minimal numbers by the second week in November. Peak populations in the northern region consisted mainly of Lesser Scaup and Mallards. Western region peaked with Lesser Scaup and Redheads being the main divers; mallards almost the exclusive dabbler.
